To all the men we’ve loved before…from the ones new to the dad thing, to a few good men who have been there for the bumpy ride we call your twenties, we found a few fun ideas to make him feel the love.

THE MAN:
He’s a risk taker. Why not put his nerves to the test and book a Moonlight Paddle in the Louisiana Wetlands. A guide will lead the way through a mid-day launch that lasts into the night. Pack his lunch, raincoat, flashlight and courage and send him off into the potentially alligator laden waters. Cost is $35.00 per paddler or $65.00 for two.

After his moonlight adventure, he’ll need something to take the edge off. Treat him to a manly beverage like the good-enough-for-breakfast Bacon Old Fashioned at Squeal Bar-B-Q. No girly calorie counting drinks here.

THE MYTH:
If the guy in your life is more GQ than Sports Illustrated, consider setting him up with a made-to-measure customized suit from Rubensteins.

Afterwards, keep it sophisticated and head over to Fair Folks and a Goat for a little afternoon delight of home interior shopping and tea service.

He’s a handy man with an inner Warhol. A variety of personality-plus screws from the Thomas Mann collection allow him to have a little fun on the job. Hit the T. Mann summer sale now through Saturday, June 26th for up to 75% off handmade jewelry and accessories.

THE LEGEND:
Nothing says classic like a Shave at the End of the Galaxy in the Shave Room at Aidan Gill for Men. Reclining leather Koken chairs, an antique chrome towel steamer and an ice cold beer to accompany his service.

Don your patriotic garb and take dear old Dad to the The National World War II Museum. Catch a live reenactment, swing by the continually updated exhibits, and don’t forget to visit the gift shop for a commemorative souvenir.
