As much as we love to lust after the Jordan Catalano’s of the world who pleasantly sedate us with their sound, we’re equally enamored with chicks that rock the stage.

To celebrate our current girl crush, we’re shining a spotlight on Meg Roussel and Amanda Wuerstlin, the feminine focal point of the six piece soul-electronic-pop act Big History. This NOLA-based band has got it all: smoky vocals, violin and catchy hooks from laptop beat music that makes you want to dance and sing with your eyes closed.

With the debut of their first album, we sat down for a Cocktails With interview to get the backstage scoop on the talented twosome.

It takes two to make this thing go right.
