Eat & Sip

June 08, 2010

Rickety chairs with ripped upholstery. A floor paved with sticky Diet Coke spills. Ramming elbows with the person next to you to see who wins the arm rest.

So far your movie watching experience has not been exactly glamorous…until The Theatres at Canal Place. It’s pretty much like flying first-class…in Madonna’s private jet. Plush stadium-style seating, a fully-stocked bar and lounge (which you can hit even if you’re not catching a flick) and a complete menu of food from the theater’s fab restaurant Gusto. Each seat (read: plush, reclining armchair) comes with a private call button so you can order Mediterranean inspired food or yummy goodies throughout the movie. Milk duds are cute, but they are no comparison to treats like white truffle popcorn and Hubig pies.

1,2,3,4…Who wants to declare an elbow war?
