Sip & Savor

May 15th, 2017

On Wednesdays We Drink Pink

Sip your summer away with a dry rosé born right here in Texas.

You find umbrellas in drinks more tacky than tiki.

Say hello to the summer-perfect sip you'll be tipping back at every picnic, park, pool and party: Austin-based Dandy Rosé. Made solely of Texas-grown grapes, the boutique wine is crisp and dry in that ideal drink-all-day way. Local sommelier and winemaker Rae Wilson's delish new vintage came from vineyards in Mason and Terry counties, and she teamed up with ATX designer Noel Waggener to create the lovely labels you'll be anxious to post to your social feed. The limited run means it's sold out online - grab a bottle (or six) at the Whip In, The Austin Wine Merchant, Travis Heights Beverage World, Delicious, Live Oak Market or the flagship Whole Foods, or order it off the menu at several restaurants and bars including Lenoir and Texas French Bread.

Corks will always be sexier than plastic swords.
